Jay Hawkins

Jay Hawkins is a Senior Economist at BMO, specializing in U.S. national and regional economic trends. He will be producing a quarterly outlook on California and other U.S. regions that are important to BMO.

Prior to joining BMO, Jay was a Senior Economist and Vice President with Bank of the West. Before that role, Jay was the Principal U.S. Economist at Visa Inc. where he monitored and quantified the U.S. economy’s impact on the payments industry. He has also held Senior Economist positions at TransUnion LLC and The Hartford Insurance Group.
